An Intimate Dining Experience…

We’ve been to Winslow’s several times over the years. Most recently we spent a wonderful couple of hours dining with family at Winslow’s over the Christmas holiday. The food and service were outstanding! The restaurant is in Cashiers and from Tucked Inn, it is about 20 miles and will take you around 30 minutes to get there. The drive half the fun. You go straight up 107, following the Tuckasegee through some beautiful mountain scenery.

The drive is windy, so be prepared if you get motion sickness. You can also take Cullowhee Mountain Road off of 107 up to Lake Glenville and into Cashiers as an alternate, also very scenic (but windy) route.

The restaurant is a little more upscale, featuring steaks, seafood and some French inspired cuisine. The French Onion Soup was superb. If you are looking for an intimate dining experience, Winslow’s may be your spot.
